ABOUT MAMA

It all started with an anonymous blog…

THE MHM STORY

Amelia Dalgaard’s obsession with automotive began with stealing her father’s Car and Driver and Road & Track issues and devouring them under the covers with a flashlight, like porn. After a television, film, and design career, she began texting pictures of cars with snarky comments to her friends. When one suggested, “Just start a blog already!” Amelia started an anonymous blog (because who cares what a middle-aged woman thinks about cars) and Motorhead Mama was born.

It all changed when…

But when a commenter wrote, “A woman couldn’t write this. This person knows too much about cars.” Amelia decided to enter the spotlight and own her passion for automotive.
